Frequently Asked Questions

What do you specialize in?

I’m a Licensed Psychotherapist (LCSW) in the states of California and New York. I offer in-person and virtual sessions for transgender, gender expansive, queer, and questioning clients. I work with individual18+.

Are you in-network with insurance providers?

I ‘m not in-network with insurance providers however, I am invested in supporting clients to utilize out-of-network (OON) insurance benefits, if applicable. Clients are provided a monthly superbill, a standard psychotherapy form, which gets submitted to your insurance provider. If your health plan endorses OON benefits, you are reimbursed a percentage of the cost for each session.

What are the rates for services?

My rate is $250 per 45-minute session for individual therapy. If this does not meet your financial capacity, please inquire about the sliding scale. The sliding scale is typically reserved for once OON reimbursement is determined.

How are sessions conducted?

My practice operates virtually and with limited capacity for in-person sessions in California and New York. In-person sessions are conducted from my office on the east side of Los Angeles where my practice resides most of the year. In-person sessions while I’m in NY are conducted from my office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn at The William Vale. For virtual sessions, the HIPAA compliant telehealth platform, SimplePractice is utilized for clinical services.

Do you offer consultations?

Detailed information about my practice policies, sliding scale discounted rates, and out-of-network insurance procedures are discussed during consultation. Free, 15-minute video consultations are an option when there is availability in my schedule for new clients.
